ORGANIZING FOR THE FUTURE

The heart of our organization is the thousands of people who turn love into action by dedicating their time, energy, and passion. Our members take on the responsibility and build the skills needed to lead the fight.

CURRENT POSITIONS

FALL INTERNSHIP ROLES

Our Fall Internship will start with an orientation on September 3rd, and will finish at either the end of November/beginning of December depending on your role. There are both in person and remote roles. Learn more about the roles you could take on below!

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis! Spots are limited in some roles, so it’s recommended that you apply as early as possible. Apply here.

Community Engagement Intern (4 hrs/week)
Fundraising Intern (4 hrs/week)
Student Organizing Intern (4+ hrs/week)
Distributed Organizing Intern (4+ hrs/week)

Develop essential organizing skills!
Connect with community members through doorknocking or phonebanking. Build familiarity with digital organizing tools, organize your networks, and learn the ins-and-outs of political organizing on the state/local level!

Location: Remote OR In Person (depending on your location)


Learn how to raise the money that funds the movement! Play a role in building one of the biggest grassroots fundraising programs in the country. Fundraising Team Leaders meet weekly and work independently to develop their skills in grassroots organizing, volunteer recruitment, and effective management in addition to a curriculum focused on the “why” and “how” of non-profit fundraising.

Students have played vital part in many social movements! The movement to win a New York that works for all of us is no different. Learn how to mobilize students around our work, and build vital skills in outreach, recruitment, event planning, event facilitation, 1-1s, etc.
