MEMBERSHIP

WHY IS MEMBERSHIP IMPORTANT?
Corporate power comes from money; ours comes from people. From the civil rights movement to the labor movement, history shows that membership-based organizations are at the forefront of change. As a grassroots movement, we need a large, active membership of people who are ready to knock doors, make calls, talk to their neighbors, and show up to city hall and Albany to demand what our communities deserve. That’s how we can take on bigger and bigger fights, for bigger and bigger victories!

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A MEMBER?
Members of For the Many make a commitment to attend at least 1 event or action every 3 months. We ask for a time commitment because having members take action is what’s most impactful for our work and building our power. Members will also get access to special benefits like helping to determine who For the Many should endorse for political office and playing a role in planning actions, events, and campaign tactics.
BECOME A MEMBER!
If you have attended 2 or more events with us within the last year, you are eligible to become a member of For the Many! Please fill out this form and an organizer will get in touch with you.
