Fundraising Organizer Intern
Background:
- For the Many is rapidly growing and this rapid growth relies heavily on our grassroots fundraising. For the Many has one of the strongest grassroots fundraising programs in the country for an organization of its size. Our grassroots fundraising program builds power by raising funds and bringing thousands of people into contact with our work. It is built by a dedicated core team of fundraising interns and volunteers.
Fundraising Organizer Intern
- Join a team of students that together will organize and manage hundreds of volunteers and execute one of the most effective grassroots fundraising drives in the country.
- Through 12 weekly training sessions you’ll learn and employ skills and tools to reach out to friends, family, and other people you know, recruit them to participate in a one-week fundraising drive, and manage them as volunteers during that drive.
- This role is about utilizing our existing networks to put on a mass action. After one week, thousands of people will donate! But the skills you’ll learn could be used to organize thousands of people to show up at a rally, vote, pressure lawmakers, go on strike, you name it! Many of our Fundraising Organizers have gone on to be effective leaders in movements around the country.
