Sarandon Elliott (she/they)
Sarandon organizes students, develops them as leaders, and mobilizes them to knock hundreds of doors and make thousands of calls to build our movement.
Sarandon was born and raised in Richmond, where she saw how austerity measures, neoliberalism, and white supremacy created crises within the public schools she attended and her community in general. Sarandon started her interest in youth and campus organizing after she transferred from a community college to the University of Virginia. At UVa, Sarandon fought against the university’s weak response to COVID safety and policing on campus through the YDSA chapter on campus.
