Chris (he/him), Vassar ’22 – Student Organizing Intern

I’ve been interning with For the Many since Summer 2020 and have loved every second of it. For the Many has taught me how to organize in a culture that prioritizes and aestheticizes performance & given me a space to offer my voice as a first-generation, low income Asian American in a world that tends to silence people from these identities. Alongside the passionate interns I’ve met along the way, For the Many has been a place where I can bridge my vision for ending oppressive structures with, in some form, the work required to do so.
