NY State Courts System Restricts Immigration Enforcement Actions

The immigrant rights group Nobody Leaves Mid-Hudson has been pressing municipal governments in the area to pass resolutions supporting the state legislation. The city governments in Poughkeepsie and Middletown have done so, and the Ulster County Legislature is considering taking up the matter.

Nobody Leaves Mid-Hudson also is seeking support from the cities of Kingston, Newburgh and Beacon; the towns of New Paltz and Woodstock; and the villages of New Paltz and Warwick.
