Newburgh Sunday Nobody Leaves Mid-Hudson event

Nobody Leaves Mid-Hudson will host a “Victory Party” in Newburgh on Sunday to celebrate the passing of the state’s Green Light Bill.

The group that works out of Dutchess, Orange and Ulster counties hopes to have its more than 1,200 members in Newburgh and Middletown come out with their families “who want to celebrate the victory and want more information on next steps,” said Vanessa Cid, volunteer organizer.

The event will occur on the heels of New York State county clerks filing a lawsuit, challenging the Green Light Bill, arguing the new state law that authorizes driver’s licenses for immigrants living in the country illegally is unconstitutional.

WHO WE ARE

COMING TOGETHER TO TRANSFORM NEW YORK.

For too long, greedy corporations, billionaires, and political elites have used their wealth and power to rig our country against us. We’re fighting to put power back in our hands.
