Middletown Backs Proposed Law Making it Illegal for ICE to Make Cicil Arrests in Court Without Court Order

 

The Middletown Common Council Tuesday night voted in support of the state’s Protect Our Courts Act that would make it unlawful for ICE to make a civil arrest while a person is going to,, attending or leaving court unless the officer presents a valid judicial warrant or court order. The Poughkeepsie Common Council, Monday night, approved the same memorializing resolution.
