Progressive group For the Many to host session on Kingston rent control law

Weeks before the city holds informational sessions on a new rent protection law, a progressive cause group will sponsor one on Thursday, Sept. 8.

For the Many, a group that supports progressive causes and political candidates, will hold an informational session in its office on the Emergency Tenants Protection Act in its13 Grand St., Kingston office at 7 p.m.

For the Many is sponsoring the event along with Citizen Action, and the statewide Housing Justice for All Coalition.

They will be joined by local elected officials as well as legal services attorneys.
