Cahill loses Democratic primary for Assembly
Political newcomer Sarahana Shrestha has defeated long-time State Assemblyman Kevin Cahill in the Democratic primary for the 103rd district.
Shrestha’s victory is “a massive step forward toward building a New York for the many,” said Jonathan Bix of the group For the Many.
He called the win “an incredible victory” won “because we fought as hard as we could.”
