Our texting team is made up of volunteers who send out hundreds of thousands of texts to New Yorkers about critical issues, like the census, registering new voters, and more. It’s super easy to get started — just follow the steps below.

Complete Our Quiz
Once you’ve watched our training video, it’s time to complete our texting quiz! When you complete the quiz, we’ll send you information to log into Slack and get you started.
Step Four
Login For Your Shift!
Make sure to put the shift in your calendar! Once the shift starts, one of our Lead Texting volunteers will add you to the correct Slack channel and into our texting platform. They’ll be available to answer any questions you have!
