Daniel Carmel (he/him)

Daniel Carmel is the student organizer at For The Many, working to engage with our local student populations and bring them into the struggle! Daniel was politically activated through his work as a Social Studies educator in the Hudson Valley, where his students were regularly lacking in their most basic needs. At a time when huge amounts of wealth were pouring into our areas, many children were without a safe place to sleep. His years of volunteer work with For the Many, particularly around housing, made it clear to him that organizing ourselves on a community level is the most effective resistance to this massive inequality. Outside of work, Daniel is found seeking ice cream, taking strolls and loving his pets!
