For years, huge corporations like Amazon have put profits over the safety and livelihoods of the workers who make the company run. Together, we can change that. We’re partnering with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters and workers to organize Amazon in the Hudson Valley and win better wages, paid time off, and safer working conditions.

ORGANIZING WORKERS TO TAKE ON AMAZON
For the Many is partnering with the Teamsters’ International and Teamsters Local 445 to organize workers and build a marketwide, anti-monopoly approach to taking on Amazon. Strong shopfloor organizing is critical to transforming not only Amazon, but the entire logistics industry. For the Many’s worker organizers support workers’ demand-based organizing to help build power at Amazon and momentum throughout the sector.
HOLD CORPORATIONS ACCOUNTABLE
In addition to supporting worker organizing, we’re advocating for laws that would hold massive corporations like Amazon to account. The 21st Century Anti-Trust Act would ensure that dominant corporations can’t use their power to unfairly depress wages, fix prices, downgrade working conditions and benefits, or exploit local businesses. This isn’t about singling out Amazon; it’s about fighting back against corporate power that keeps workers in danger and poverty to further enrich billionaires.

21st Century Antitrust Act: New York’s antitrust law hasn’t been updated in 125 years, and that’s why dominant corporations like Amazon control our economy. The 21st Century Antitrust Act will ensure dominant corporations can’t depress wages unfairly, downgrade working conditions and benefits, fix prices, or exploit local businesses. It also mandates workers and unions get a seat at the table to protect everyday people from corporate mergers. This bill is a pioneering step toward making sure our economy works for all of us.
