There are SO many ways to take action with us this month to pass comprehensive statewide tenant protections, win lower utility bills for working families, and send two incredible community organizers to the Assembly.

We’re joining thousands of New Yorkers for two HUGE days of action in Albany this month – join us in making sure the Hudson Valley is well represented at these statewide actions!! These actions are a great opportunity to talk to our legislators and rally with folks from across the state.
➡️ Tuesday, March 19: Housing Justice for All Day of Action
➡️ Wednesday, March 20: Climate Justice Day of Action with NY Renews
Logistics: We’ll provide transportation from the Hudson Valley and lunch for both of these events. We usually arrive in Albany around 10am and leave by 4pm – RSVP to the events for specific details!
We’ve endorsed Claire Cousin, a third-generation Hudson Valley resident and working-class mom of three, in the Democratic Primary for Assembly District 106, which includes parts of Dutchess and Columbia counties.
We’ve also re-endorsed Assemblymember Sarahana Shrestha, who has been a bold fighter for housing justice, higher wages, and protecting our climate.
Now, we need to ensure that Claire and Sarahana win their primaries! And right now we have just ONE MONTH to collect thousands of petition signatures from registered voters in their districts to ensure that they get on the ballot.
