Dan Aymar Blair

A sixth-generation New Yorker, Dan grew up in Saratoga Springs. He worked in finance and operations for New York City Public Schools for fifteen years, where he rose to become Senior Executive Director of Operations. Before being elected Comptroller, Dan served on the Beacon City Council from 2020 to 2024, where he championed smart infrastructure investments and fought for Good Cause Eviction.
