Megan Deichler

Megan grew up in a working-class family, and her policy priorities are informed by the everyday issues families like hers face. During her first term on Common Council, Megan has been a champion for our Homes Are Not Hotels campaign, and she supports opting into the Emergency Tenant Protection Act to create rent stabilization in Poughkeepsie.

Her other policy priorities include ensuring new buildings are carbon neutral, addressing the root causes of crime rather than overfunding the police, and improving public transportation and infrastructure.

WHO WE ARE

COMING TOGETHER TO TRANSFORM NEW YORK.

For too long, greedy corporations, billionaires, and political elites have used their wealth and power to rig our country against us. We’re fighting to put power back in our hands.
